So in Team Verzus right now we have about four cars in major rehaul status! lol. Good news though, is that all of these projects will be coming to fruition within the next two months. So after that, please believe there are going to be a lot of updates with pictures and videos of events. Team Verzus will be at theXtreme Speed Track Events on Saturday for drifting. We will be doing some in car help for the new drivers as well as helping out Extreme Speed running the track. Please come out if you can! Merely a flesh wound..

Luigi ran into a small snag at VDTT01 (VegasDrift Test and Tune 01) on Friday when he had a slight collision with the wall. Overall the chassis is fine, but now the front will either need to be tubed or completely redone. The LCA on the passenger was bent and so was the Inner tie rod (pic below). Luigi is going to take his time and take this crash as a reason to upgrade and overcome. Dont be discouraged Luigi! its merely a flesh wound 😉 Much love from your team and just let us know what we can do to help!

Yao’s putting in Work

Hey everyone, recently just picked up on a great deal in Cali for a set of wheels I’ve been looking for for a long time. These are the discontinued JDM Work Equip 01 5 spoke. These are going to really set the car off when it is done and painted soon.

Some PS13 interior and suspension work

Yao’s S13 has been sitting with pretty crappy interior for the last year or so. So Yao and Gray decided to do a little sprucing up in there and added some stock s13 carpet. We had to shampoo the crap out of the carpet to get out what looked like rootbeer when water was added to the carpet lol! Granted the carpet is older then some people that drift in Vegas, so completely understandable. Looks great in there with the red dash and black carpet.

Also had some extra time after the interior was done. So Yao threw all the suspension back on and it does not have a lack of colors lol.

Gold LCAs, Green Wangles, Green Teins, Bright Green Sikky bar, Black SPL Tension, Orange Z32 brakes, and Red power brace. Yao is trying to confuse the competition with colors I suppose.

When installing the Sikky bar, ran into a little snag. What seems as simple as just turning the bar upside down and reinstalling turned into a pain in the ass. The Sikky.com decal was on upside down and caused us to think that this bar does not fit with the s13 Nismo power brace. Well, it does, but just looks a little wierd now.

Yao’s 1JZ GTE build update

So it has been a little while since I updated everyone on the build. Everything has slowed down a bit, but when it happens, it will be fast. Just waiting for some time to get the rest done, but it will probably take another couple weeks before its done.

Got the Exedy Hyper Twin on the motor and the tranny put on. Also got the motor in the car and when I say tight fit….I mean REALLY tight fit. Had to bang out the fire wall a bit to even get the motor to seat the motor mounts. Had to also cut the shifter hole in the car (expected).

Then I also got a hold of some Tomei Adjustable Cam gears from . They just came out for the 1JZ and they look great. Love the red!

I got my Nismo Power Brace off to Ram Proline for powder coating here in Vegas. They are probably the best powdercoaters I have seen. Super legit colors and very professional work and service. So keep posted for updates on the Team Verzus cars.
